We were lucky enough to spend a lovely weekend away last week in the Gold Coast. To be completely honest I have never really been much of a fan of the Gold Coast and would normally choose to head to Byron Bay or Noosa for a little getaway. However after the fantastic weekend we just had up there I think we might have a new regular quick holiday destination.
The Gold Cosat is really the ultimate holiday spot for children as there is just so much to do to entertain them! Theme Parks, beach, swimming, zoos, shows, parks, the list is endless. My three year old was counting down all week to get to Dreamworld and he absolutely loved it! It was great for his age as they had rides for the little ones as well as shows and the zoo. We only went to the one theme park because we were just there just for the weekend and we are not that crazy!
Broadbeach is where we stayed and is where you want to be. The new Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is fabulous and caters for all your shopping desires with Zimmermann to Givenchy, Hermes to Alice McCall. The Gold Coast also has some great places to eat at as well which I will list below.
Our accomodation was amazing and I would highly recommend staying there. It was enormous with seven bedrooms, cinema room, pool, jetty, you name it and was so luxurious! Brand new and exquisitely styled it would be hard to find somewhere better and so affordable. Check it out https://www.eliteholidayhomes.com.au/properties/palm-springs-sophisticated-luxury/ and from only $480 per night!
